Our Air Sealing services can be purchased in conjunction with insulation installation or by themselves. Packages can be purchased in 2 tiers with larger items like attic fans, attic access doors, etc. being quoted separately:
Baseline – Includes air sealing:
- Plumbing Penetrations on interior
- Sealing around all supply and return registers on interior
- Sealing attic penetrations
- Addressing any additional areas of concern
Deluxe – Includes air sealing:
- Plumbing Penetrations on interior
- Sealing around all supply and return registers on interior
- Sealing attic penetrations
- Sealing penetrations in crawlspace/basement
So what causes drafty, cold & hot rooms? What drives up our utility bills? AIR! To be more specific, air that is either conditioned and escapes out of your house, or unconditioned air that finds its way in. In each case, that air must be replaced with conditioned air in order to maintain your thermostats setting. Often, air comes from crawlspaces and attics, which can make allergies worse as a result of increased dust and other pollutants.
