Why do you air seal and insulate?
  Insulation is made to stop the transfer of hot and cold, or "thermal" transfer as we refer to it in the industry.  Insulation, however, is not a full proof air barrier, or a building material that stops air flow. It only impedes air flow.   Air can be a big contributor to a host of factors inside a home and is relatively cost effective to fix.
 
Are there tax credits available for insulation services?

  There are currently Federal Tax Credits available for SCE&G Customers.
